Our History
The Cybersecurity and Network Research Lab was originally established in 2019 as the Information Security Lab under the leadership of Dr. Tith Dara. It was founded as part of the Department of Information and Communication Engineering (GIC) at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) to provide graduate students with a dedicated space for conducting advanced research in security-related fields. In 2024, the lab was restructured and renamed to the Cybersecurity and Network Research Lab to reflect its expanded focus on cybersecurity and network security. This evolution marked a shift toward addressing a broader range of challenges in securing digital infrastructures and fostering innovation in networking technologies. Today, the lab serves as a hub for students, researchers, and industry collaborators, working together to develop cutting-edge solutions and contribute to the advancement of secure and reliable digital systems.
